XSORT keyword

If you keep the default HALDB(Y) keyword, use the XSORT keyword on the SORT and REC or AREC control statement.

This keyword identifies a corresponding SORT control statement that contains the sort work space and external address space requirements that are passed to the Index Rebuild function for rebuilding indexes when BLDINDEX(Y) is specified on the REC or AREC statement. A unique sort task is started for each index to be rebuilt.
