KEYSTOP keyword


The KEYSTOP keyword identifies the key of a VSAM KSDS that stops tracing.

This keyword limits the amount of trace output by specifying the highest symbolic key value that the Trace facility can print. Use this keyword when the database data set group being traced uses symbolic keys (KSDS only).

BMC Customer Support may ask you to use the Trace facility.

Syntax

KEYSTOP(cccccccc)

Value

cccccccc

1-256 alphanumeric characters. Surround the entire value with single quotation marks when spaces are included. This value is left justified and filled on the right, if necessary, with binary zeros (HIGH-VALUES).

Default

KEYSTOP(HIGH-VALUES)

No upper limit is imposed.
