Creating models with the ISPF interface RVP

When you create a predefined model with the ISPF interface or the Database Administration Console, the model is stored as an entry in the model load module (member RCUMODTB).

This load module should be stored in a library that is in the STEPLIB concatenation of the job step that refers to the model. You can override the specifications in the predefined model by specifying a MODEL control statement that refers to the same model name.

For information about creating predefined models with the ISPF interface, see Using-the-ISPF-interface-RVP.
