Use the ASIS keyword to specify the mode of operation for the CIC and ACIC functions.

When you specify ASIS(Y), the following keywords are ignored:

  • FPA
  • FSE
  • ICALG
  • ICCOMP
  • PCP
  • STATS

Syntax

ASIS(value)

Values

Specify one of the following values:

  • Y—Physically copy the input image copy to the output file. The output image copy has identical compression parameters to the input image copy.
  • N—Logically copy the input image copy to the output file. If necessary, input records are expanded as they are read. Output records are compressed as they are written according to the specifications of the ICCOMP, ICALG, and FSE keywords.
