Installing BMC Service Request Management

This topic contains information about fixes and updates in this patch, and provides instructions for downloading and installing the patch. When you apply the Dev to Prod packages (D2P packages or Apps packages), the patch is applied on the target server for only those modules which are already installed. 


Before applying BMC Remedy ITSM and BMC Service Request Management patches, upgrade/install the following applications:

  • BMC Remedy ITSM Suite 9.1.03
  • BMC Service Request Management 9.1.03
  • BMC Service Level Management 9.1.03 (Optional)

Before you begin

Before applying Remedy Application packages (ITSM and SRM) in a server group, perform the following steps:

  1. Install BMC Remedy 9.1.03 on both primary and secondary servers.
  2. Apply 91 SP3 Patch1 for AR System and Atrium Core on both primary and secondary servers.

Applying the patch 

Apply the apps packages on the primary server as explained in the Readme file Patch 1 for Service Pack 3 SRM.pdf.

The apps packages do not need to be applied on the secondary servers.
