BMC Remedy ITSM Suite Solution Performance Benchmarks

BMC Performance Lab conducted a benchmarking test for BMC Remedy ITSM Suite to address system performance and scalability. The benchmarking test also provides a guideline for sizing and optimal deployment configuration. For realistic simulation of a production environment, all the servers are configured as clustered for high availability (HA), as clustering affects system behavior related to performance and scalability.

The benchmarking test was conducted for the following products:

  • BMC Remedy IT Service Management (BMC Remedy ITSM)
  • BMC Smart Reporting, BMC Service Request Management
  • BMC Knowledge Management
  • BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database (BMC Atrium CMDB)
  • BMC Remedy Single-Sign-On.
  • BMC Virtual Chat

The results of the benchmark provide the following information:

  1. Quantitative test results for use or as a baseline or reference
  2. A guideline for hardware sizing for a given workload
  3. System configuration recommendations for optimal performance
