9.1.01: Service Pack 1
This section provides information about fixes and updates in this service pack, and provides instructions for downloading and installing the service pack.
Before you begin
- Install BMC Remedy Action Request System Platform components 9.1 Patch 1 and BMC Atrium Core 9.1 Patch 1 before installing BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) 9.1 SP1. Some of the functionalities of BMC Remedy applications at version 9.1 SP1 do not work as expected without BMC Remedy Action Request Platform 9.1 Patch 1 and BMC Atrium Core 9.1 Patch 1. For example, Remedy Single Sign-on configured for SAML authentication has a dependency on BMC Remedy AR Sever 9.1 Patch 1. See, Installing BMC Remedy AR System 9.1.00.001 and Installing BMC Atrium Core 9.1.00.001.
- Before deploy the Service Pack 1 for BMC Remedy SSO and BMC Remedy ITSM components, review the following:
Service packs are cumulative and contain the features and fixes of all the previous service packs and patches. For example, Service Pack 1 contains the enhancements and fixes made in 9.1.00. The BMC Remedy ITSM 9.1 service pack 1 includes the features and fixes of all the previous service packs and patches. However, it does not include patch 1 for BMC Remedy Action Request System Platform components 9.1 and BMC Atrium Core 9.1.
