To view the latest version, select the version from the Product version menu.

Running the BMC Remedy ITSM Suite Preconfigured Stack installer

  1. Navigate to the following directory:
    • (Microsoft Windows) BMCRemedyITSMSuitePreconfiguredStack\Disk1
    • (UNIX) BMCRemedyITSMSuitePreconfiguredStack/Disk1
  2. Perform the following action:
    • (Microsoft Windows) Double-click the setup.exe file.
    • (UNIX) Run setup.bin.
  3. Follow the steps to complete the installation.
  4. On the Installation Summary page, click the View Log button to view the bmcremedyitsmsuitepreconfiguredstack_install_log.txt log file that contains the installation summary, warnings, or errors that occurred during the installation.

Note

If you want to install only English and then subsequently install additional languages, you must run the standalone installer and add additional languages. You cannot rerun the installer and add additional languages. 

To install BMC Remedy ITSM Preconfigured Stack 8.1.00

  1. Navigate to the following directory, depending on your operating system:
    • (Microsoft Windows) BMCRemedyITSMSuitePreconfiguredStack\Disk1\InstData\VM
    • (UNIX) BMCRemedyITSMSuitePreconfiguredStack/Disk1/InstData/VM/
  2. Perform the following action, depending on your operating system:
    • (Microsoft Windows) Double-click the setup.exe file.
    • (UNIX) Run setup.bin.
  3. Follow the steps to complete the installation.
  4. On the Installation Summary page, click the View Log button to view the bmcremedyitsmsuitepreconfiguredstack_install_log.txt log file that contains the installation summary, warnings, or errors that occurred during the installation.
