Installation issue: Language pack data and integration not imported

When you run the BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) or BMC Service Request Management installer to install additional language packs, the newly selected locale specific data and integration are not imported. 

Contact BMC Customer Support with reference to the following issue IDs:

  • For version 8.0.00:
    • BMC Remedy ITSM: SW00462890
    • BMC Service Request Management: SW00462891
  • For version 8.1.00:
    • BMC Remedy ITSM: SW00452485
    • BMC Service Request Management:SW00452557

For example, you install the BMC Remedy ITSM or BMC Service Request Management with the English language pack. Later, when you re-run the installer to add more language packs, the newly selected locale specific data and integration are not imported.

This issue has been fixed in Service Pack 1 for version 8.1.00.
