Help systems installed by the BMC Remedy ITSM Suite Preconfigured Stack installer

The BMC Remedy ITSM Suite Preconfigured Stack installer automatically installs Help for the following applications:

  • BMC Atrium CMDB 8.1.00
  • BMC Asset Management 8.1.00
  • BMC Change Management 8.1.00
  • BMC Incident Management 8.1.00
  • BMC Problem Management 8.1.00
  • BMC Service Level Management 8.1.00
  • BMC Knowledge Management 8.1.00
  • BMC Service Request Management 8.1.00

(UNIX only) To display the Help correctly

  1. Open the web.xml file located in the ../Apache/Tomcat/conf directory.
  2. Locate the following statement and change the value of <param-value> from false to true:
    -<init-param>
    <param-name>listings</param-name>
    <param-value>true</param-value>
  3. Save the file and restart Apache Tomcat.
