Default installation directories

This topic provides a list of directories in which the BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System features are installed.

Note

In the following table ARSystemInstallDir  refers to the default BMC Remedy AR System installation directory:

  • (Microsoft Windows) C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem
  • (UNIX) /opt/bmc/ARSystem

Important

If you upgrade BMC Remedy AR System, new files are installed and existing files from the previous installation are overwritten. Otherwise, the legacy files are left on the file system unaltered.
