Verifying the amount of TEMP space needed by the installer
Prior to installation, the Drift Management installer
- Self-extracts its contents to a temporary directory and
- Uses more disk space than the Drift Management application
If sufficient temp space is not available, the installation is aborted. Hence you must,
- Clean up the disk
- Contact your system administrator to allocate more space, if cleaning up the disk does not free up enough space.
The table below provides details of free disk space required in different operating systems as the location of this temporary directory is dependent on the underlying operating system.
Operating System | Temp Directory | Required Free Space |
---|---|---|
Windows |
| 500 MB |
Linux |
| 750 MB |
After the installation has been successfully completed or canceled by the user, the temporary space used by the installer is deleted.
