Verifying that the JSP engine has the proper permissions

If you are using the existing, Apache Tomcat JSP engine, or JBOSS, make sure that the JS engine process owner has read, write, and execute permissions to the mid tier installation directory:

  • Windows: C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\midtier
  • UNIX: /opt/bmc/ARSystem/midtier

If you are installing Tomcat from the suite installer, make sure that the Tomcat's destination directory (for example, /opt/apche/Tomcat7.0) has read, write, and execute permissions for the user running the installer.
