Reviewing the changes using the Differences List

  • Conflict — If you see this icon when Only show changes to reconcile filter is ON, it means that the changes that BMC made in the new definition are conflicting with your overlay definition.
  • Pseudo conflict — If you see this icon after the Only show changes to reconcile filter is OFF, it means that the changes that BMC made in the new definition are already present in overlay definition and you do not need to reconcile them. This is called pseudo conflict.

Filtering the Differences List

IconActionDescription
Only show changes to reconcile filter. Use this filter to view all the objects that are modified.

By default, this filter is turned ON to display only the manual reconciliations list. When you click the filter, it is turned OFF and  displays all the modified objects even those objects that do not need to be reconciled.

Note: When the filter is turned ON and the list is empty, it means that there are no differences to reconcile. The list displays the text No Differences for Manual Reconciliations.
