Log file locations

This topic provides installation and upgrade log file details for all the components in the BMC Remedy IT Service Management (ITSM) Suite.

BMC Remedy AR System logs

The log files for all features of BMC Remedy Action Request (AR) System are located in the same directory.

Note

In the following table, ARSystemInstallDir refers to the default BMC Remedy AR System installation directory:

  • (Microsoft Windows) C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\
  • (UNIX) /opt/bmc/ARSystem/
