Installing an application that communicates with encrypted servers
- Deactivate encryption on the encrypted server.
See Configuring the data key
in the BMC Remedy AR System documentation. - Install the application.
On the application, install the same level of encryption that the server uses.
See Installing encryption on BMC Remedy applications.Note
If the server uses standard security, do not install encryption. Standard security is built into the BMC Remedy AR System API.
- Reactivate encryption on the server.
