BlPackage - createPackageFromNamedDepotObjectByTypeString

Description :

This command creates a BLPackage based on a depot object. The package will include the information needed to deploy the specified depot object (software, files, and so forth).

The valid depot object type strings are:

  • DEPOT_FILE_OBJECT: file

The possible software installables are:

  • AIX_PATCH_INSTALLABLE: AIX patch
  • AIX_PACKAGE_INSTALLABLE: AIX package
  • HP_PRODUCT_INSTALLABLE: HP-UX product
  • HP_BUNDLE_INSTALLABLE: HP-UX bundle
  • HP_PATCH_INSTALLABLE: HP-UX patch
  • RPM_INSTALLABLE: Linux RPM
  • DEBIAN_PACKAGE_INSTALLABLE: Debian package
  • SOLARIS_PATCH_INSTALLABLE: Solaris patch
  • SOLARIS_PACKAGE_INSTALLABLE: Solaris package
  • HOTFIX_WINDOWS_INSTALLABLE: Windows HotFix
  • SERVICEPACK_WINDOWS_INSTALLABLE: Windows Service Pack
  • MSI_WINDOWS_INSTALLABLE: Windows MSI Package
  • INSTALLSHIELD_WINDOWS_INSTALLABLE: Windows InstallShield Package
    This command returns a handle to the newly created package and can be used as input to commands that need a handle to the package.

True to create a package soft linked to the depot object resources, false otherwise.

bCollectFileAcl

True to package the file attributes, false otherwise.

bCopyFileContents

Boolean

True to package the file contents, false otherwise.

bCollectRegistryAcl

Boolean

True to package the registry ACLs, false otherwise.

depotObjectGroup

String

Group of depot object

depotObjectName

String

Name of depot object.

depotObjectType

String

String representing a depot object type. For more detailed information, see the description above.
