     Description

    Export Data to File System

    Test Write Data

BMC Helix Data Manager will export data (from the Group Form) on the BMC Helix ITSM Server to the file system. Depending on the configuration, the BMC Helix Data Manager Engine, BCP local to the BMC Helix Data Manager Engine, or the database server will perform the export operation.

BMC Helix Data Manager will use the default file system connection to create the data package directory into which the data will be exported.

    Test Read Files

BMC Helix Data Manager will scan the file system for data packages using the default file system connection.

    Import Data from File System

    Test Read Data

BMC Helix Data Manager will look for a test export package and instruct the database to import the data.

    Test Read Files

BMC Helix Data Manager will scan the file system for data packages by using the default file system connection.
