Solaris Zones Overview dashboard

Use the Solaris Zones Overview dashboard to manage the capacity of the virtualized infrastructure that runs on Solaris zones. The dashboard provides the capacity-specific details of zones and the hosts that contain these zones.

Important

Do not make the dashboard editable by using the Make editable option in the dashboard settings. If you want to customize the dashboard, we recommend that you create a copy of the dashboard and customize it.

To view the Solaris Zones Overview dashboard

  1. Open BMC Helix Dashboards from BMC Helix Portal.
  2. From the navigation menu, click Dashboards.
  3. Search for the Helix Continuous Optimization folder and select it.
  4. Click Solaris Zones Overview.

You can also access this dashboard from the Solaris Zones Overview dashboard and Solaris Dashboard.

Panels in the dashboard

PanelDescription
HostsDisplays the capacity-specific details of all the available hosts that contain zones in the Solaris virtualization environment. Use the Host filter to view data for the selected hosts. Click a host to view the host details on the Solaris Zone Host Details dashboard.
ZonesDisplays the capacity-specific details of available zones for the selected hosts in the Solaris virtualization environment. Click a zone to view the zone details on the Solaris Zone Details dashboard.
Future SaturationsDisplays the zones and hosts for which the capacity-specific parameters are nearing saturation in the next 30 days.

Displays the details of capacity-specific parameters of the selected hosts.

Displays the details of capacity-specific parameters of the zones that are associated with the selected hosts.
