Solaris Zone Host Details dashboard

The Solaris Zone Host Details dashboard provides the capacity usage of the selected zone host. You can use this information to identify capacity-specific issues in the selected host.

Important

Do not make the dashboard editable by using the Make editable option in the dashboard settings. If you want to customize the dashboard, we recommend that you create a copy of the dashboard and customize it.

The dashboard displays the capacity usage trend in charts. The GIB, MIB, or TIB units specified in the charts are the same as GB, MB, or TB.

To view the Solaris Zone Host Details dashboard

  1. Open BMC Helix Dashboards from BMC Helix Portal.
  2. From the navigation menu, click Dashboards.
  3. Search for the Helix Continuous Optimization folder and select it.
  4. Click Solaris Zone Host Details.
  5. From the Host list, select a host to view its details.

You can also access this dashboard from the Solaris Zone Overview dashboard and the Solaris Dashboard.

The dashboard displays the following details of the selected host:

Configuration Details

Displays the configuration details of the zone host, such as hardware and CPU make and model, CPU cores, CPU threads, logical processors, real memory, and number of network interfaces.

Summary

Displays the following summary of the CPU usage, memory usage, disk I/O rate, and network I/O rate of the host.

  • Bar gauges that show the percentage of CPU, memory, and real memory usage
  • Charts that show the usage trend of the following capacity parameters for the selected period:
    • CPU usage in percentage
    • Memory and real memory usage in percentage
    • Disk I/O rate
    • Network I/O rate

CPU Profile

Displays charts that show the trend of CPU utilization and other CPU details.

Processor States BreakdownPercentage distribution of processor states.
