Printable dashboards


As a dashboard user, you can use the printable dashboards to print the required change, incident, or work order records in a PDF format on an A4 size paper without having to manually select any fields.

To view the Printable Details dashboards

  1. On the left navigation pane, hover your mouse over the Dashboards icon and click Browse.
  2. Click the Helix ITSM folder and then click any of the following dashboards:

    • Printable Change Details
    • Printable Incident Details
    • Printable Work Order Details

    Tip: Quick access from the home page

    To quickly open the dashboard from the home page, mark it as a favorite by using the star icon. Additionally, after you open a dashboard, it is available under Recently viewed dashboards on the home page.

The following table lists the panels in the Printable Change Details dashboard:

Dashboard filters

You can use the following custom filters to view the change details on the dashboard:

  • Company
  • Coordinator Group
  • Status
  • Change ID

Note: By default, only the first 10 records are displayed in the Change ID list. To change this number, go to Dashboard settings > Variables and update the limit in the SQL query. We recommend that you do not exceed the limit to more than 500 records. For more information, see Setting up variables for dashboard queries, filtering data, and panel title values.

Select the range from the following additional global filter to view the relevant change records:

  • Date and time range

By default, the result displays the relevant information for the last 30 days.


Panels

Displays the following panels for a change record:

  • Requestor Information

Note

In the Requestor Information panel, you can click the Infrastructure Change ID link to view the change details. The change details are displayed in a new Smart IT screen.


  • Location Information

  • Change Implementer
  • Change Manager

  • Product Categorization
  • Operational Categorization

Note: By default, only the first 10 records are displayed in the CI Name list. To change this number, go to Dashboard settings > Variables and update the limit in the SQL query. The date and time range filter does not filter the asset records. We recommend that you do not exceed the limit to more than 500 records. For more information, see Setting up variables for dashboard queries, filtering data, and panel title values.

To print a Printable Details dashboard

  1. For the required dashboard, click the Share icon .
  2. On the Share page, click Download.
  3. From the list, select the Type as PDF.
  4. Select the required Layout and Orientation.
  5. Click Download PDF.


    You can now print the PDF on a A4 size paper.
