Note

ASM and Listener variables are available only when ASM and Listener are configured.

1 The GA_DBA_GROUP and GA_OPER_GROUP variables are not set when a RAC database is created in a shared home.

2 These variables are set in the following scenarios:

  • For Create 10gR2 RAC Cluster or Add Node to RAC cluster, the variables are set.
  • For Create 11gR2 RAC Cluster or Add Node to RAC cluster, the variables are set in the Create Cluster Job. The variables are not set in the Add Node to Cluster job.
  • For Create 12C RAC Cluster or Add Node to RAC cluster, the variables are not set in the Create Cluster Job or in the Add Node to Cluster job.

3 This variable is only set for Oracle 12c.
