8.9.01.001: Patch 1 for version 8.9.01

This patch corrects known issues in BMC Database Automation (BDA) and introduces enhancements to the product.

Corrected issues

For more information about the issues corrected in this patch, see Known and corrected issues and select 8.9.01.001 in the Corrected in list to filter the issues in the table.

Enhancements

This patch includes Oracle 12.2.0.1 (GA) support for the following platforms:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6 and 7
  • Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) 6 and 7
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 12
  • Solaris 10 and 11 (not supported for Oracle RAC configurations)

Note

Provisioning Oracle container database (CDB) and non-CDB database from Seed is not supported with Oracle 12.2.0.1, because of a third-party issue. For more information, see Bug 21957795 in the Oracle support site.
