Understanding product alerts (2020 Release 01)

Product alerts notify you about new releases, and compliance and other deliveries.

Note

Product alert messages expire after a certain duration. When a Product alert message has expired, you cannot get its details using a REST API call.

The Product Alerts icon product alert icon.png is displayed at the top-right corner of the BMC Database Automation (BDA) interface.

On the BDA Home page, the Product Alerts tab is added:

When you click the Product Alerts icon or tab, the product alerts page opens. This page contains a list of alerts, including their subject, related messages, and date.

When you click an alert on the Product Alerts page, the details of the alert are displayed on the Alert Description page.
