Approving Sybase Dataservers and Replication Servers

Sybase Dataservers and Replication Servers discovered by BMC Database Automation (BDA) appear in the Pending Approval section of the Management Console.

To approve Sybase Dataservers and Replication Servers, perform these steps:

1. From the Context Frame, select Pending Approval > Sybase.
2. Select your approval target:
   • To approve a Sybase Dataserver, in the Sybase Dataservers Pending Approval section, select the Dataservers that you want to approve.
   • To approve a Sybase Replication Server, in the Sybase Repservers Pending Approval section, select the Replication Servers that you want to approve.

   • (2020 Release 02) For Sybase Dataserver, Sybase Dataserver Home, Sybase Replication Server, and Sybase Replication Server Home, click the following fields to sort them in ascending or descending order:

     • Name
     • Version
     • Identifier
     • Node
3. Click Approve Selected.
4. On the Approve page, click Approve.
   A success message appears and the selected Dataservers or Replication Servers no longer appear in the pending approval list.
