Connection Refused error message after running first tool after setup
If, after setting up and configuring your environment for using command line tools, you receive a “Connection Refused” error message when running your first command, perform the following checks:
- You are able to ping the BMC Database Automation manager host FQDN from the host where the command line tools are installed.
- The port number (default 8087) is open on the BMC Database Automation manager host.
- The uncommented line in the mtd.conf file does not have a space in its prefix
- The mtd service has restarted after it was edited.
