Adding target OS and applications to a patch package

When creating a patch package, the Target Operating Systems and Target Applications fields are pre-populated. You can add IBM DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase OS and application candidates that are not already included in these fields.

To add target OS and applications to a patch package

  1. In the Context Frame, select Patch Repository > Packaging Configuration.
  2. In the Configuration Settings page, click Add to add an OS or application to the list of DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or Sybase settings.
For example, to add an OS to the Oracle Settings, click Add in the Oracle Operating System Candidates section, and then type the name of the OS in the text box that appears.
  3. Click Save Settings.
