Failed to add an Oracle cluster, database, or instance
If you received an error when attempting to add a cluster, node, or instance, do the following:
- Analyze the components involved in the process you were attempting.
Check your Oracle configuration and look for any issues. Verify that the underlying components and processes such as the database and OS are configured correctly and operating normally. Host Validation does not pass until the issue is resolved. - Make repairs as needed.
- From within the Management Console, remove the cluster, node or instance that was not added correctly.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
