We are announcing enhancements to the the BMC Compuware ThruPut Manager product.

Overview of the enhancements
This section describes the following enhancements:
- Control File performance parameters now support the use of the JES2 MASDEF parameters by default, including support for MASDEF CYCLEMGT=AUTO.
- New JESplex members that are not defined in the active SLM Policy no longer cause SLM to quiesce on the other defined members. Defining the new member in the Automation File will allow SLM to commence normal processing on the new member. All other members are unaffected.
- You can now rename the Automation File. The installation can now specify a space for a new Automation File.
Superseded APAR
APAR TR71603 is superseded in this release.
Obtaining the enhancements
PTF TMT7132 enables the enhancements.
We recommend that you obtain the enhancements by using the SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER command. For more information, see Using SMP/E RECEIVE ORDER. However, you can also use the following method:
Navigate to BMC Compuware maintenance packaging engine and select the Compuware-Products tab.
- In Order Type, select Cumulative Maintenance, and search for BMC Compuware ThruPut Manager.
- Click the BMC Compuware ThruPut Manager 18.02 row, review and select from the list of Required Dependent Products and Recommended products, and click Done to add the product.
- Click Continue to proceed, select the relevant options across the ordering stages, and complete the ordering process.
To view a list of PTF included in the cumulative maintenance, go to BMC Electronic Product Distribution (EPD), locate the required product name and version, and click the PTF text file.
