Change Administrator Password

The Repository Management Utility's Change Administrator Password tab is used to change the administrator password for the repository.

To change the administrator password

1. Select the Change Administrator Password tab.
2. From the Repository Name list, select the appropriate repository.

3. In the Old Password field, enter the old administrator password for the repository.

   Warning

   Important

   The default password for the local repository created during product installation is fileaidcs.

4. In the New Password field, enter the new password.
5. In the Confirm New Password field, retype the new password.
6. Click Change Password. The administrator password is changed.
