24.1.00 enhancements and patches
24.1.00 enhancements
Changes in the Software Catalog
Starting with version 24.1.00 of BMC Client Management, the Flexera Software Catalog will no longer be delivered. We are transitioning to provide an internally developed Software Catalog with better content and more reliable updates.
During this transition period, which begins with version 24.1.00, you will see some gaps in the new Software Catalog compared to the earlier versions. This Software Catalog for 24.1.00 contains the content for Windows software only. The information for macOS and Linux will be delivered in later releases.
If your organization needs macOS and Linux content, continue using the earlier version of the product, BMC Client Management version 22.4.00, and stay on the latest patch - Patch 4.
For more information about using the Software Catalog, see Configuring-after-upgrade.
If you have any questions, contact BMC Support or open a communication thread on Client Management Online Community.
