Proxy Options parameters

The parameters of this tab allow you to configure the proxy parameters for the BMC Client Management agent.

ParameterDefault valueDescription
Host name
Name of the device on which the proxy is installed.
Port
The TCP port number of the parent on which it communicates with its children.
User
User name to be used for authentication.
Password
Corresponding password. For security reasons, the keyword is only displayed in the the form of asterisks (*).
Timeout (sec)30Time to wait in seconds before aborting a connection via the proxy.
Check Settings
Verify that a connection can be established with the entered proxy parameter values.
