Managing remote control session history

In BMC Client Management, you can store the history of remote control sessions recorded on your device. This feature helps you to keep a track of details like who has accessed your device remotely and the start and end time when the device was accessed. When a remote session is in progress, the end time is displayed as 'executing'.

To store the history of your remote control sessions, you must configure the same when configuring the remote control session. For more information, see Configuring remote control recording.

The history is also stored for remote control sessions on request (on agentless devices). You can filter the history results by device name or administrator or start and end date. You can check if the recording is available for each entry in the remote control history list using the Recording column.
