Auditing a device

By using the web console, you can start an asset discovery scan of the selected device. You can also upload the latest information and a summary of the hardware, software, and security inventory of the device.

To perform an audit, click Actions > Audit Now on the device information page.

An audit request is sent to the client. The device scan is started and the data in the Inventories tab is updated after the scan.
