Changing the query associated with a subreport

  1. Select Reports in the left window pane.
  2. Select the report to be modified in the left window pane.
  3. Select its Subreports subnode the left window pane.
  4. Select the subreport to be modified in the left window pane.
  5. Click the Columns tab in the right window pane.

  6. Make the desired changes in the Query Type and Query Name boxes.
    When you change the query to one with a different query type, you will loose all columns that you defined for the prior query. The subreport was copied to the clipboard. The change of the query will automatically be saved and applied to the subreport. In case the new query is of a different type than the prior query, you'll now need to add the necessary columns provided by the new query to the subreport.
