Logging on to the console for the first time


  1. Double-click the console desktop icon.The console login window appears.console_jws.png
  2. In the login screen, enter the following information when the console is launched for the first time:

    Parameter

    Description

    User Name

    Enter the user name provided by the OnDemand team, for example, Cusomer123admin.

    Password

    Enter the corresponding password.

    Server:Port

    This text box is already filled in with the link to your database server and its port number, for example Customer123.OnBMC.com:1610. Do not modify it.

    Secure Connection

    Do not make any changes in this box, otherwise you cannot connect your console.

  3. Click Login at the bottom of the window.
     A confirmation window appears.
  4. Click Run .
     The console window opens on the screen and at the same time opens a pop-up window displaying the End User License Agreement (EULA).
  5. Click Agree to accept.InformationThis window is only displayed the first time you log on to the console. After you accept the agreement, this window is displayed again only if the content of the EULA changes.

The pop-up window closes and the console is now ready for use.

If instead of the confirmation window you get the following error, check to see if you have several versions of Java installed.

Depending on the browser, it might use different Java versions and the Registry might not have been updated accordingly. Copy the trusted certificate to the Java version the console is using and restart the console.

Warning

Note:

Be aware that the certificate must be reinstalled after every Java update.
