Publishing Reports


To make the generated reports accessible to other associates within your department or company you can publish them. Publishing means that each execution will publish the report in a given format (CSV, HTML or XML) and to a given place provided through a URL. This way, administrators can show reports to non- CM users on any server.

Export Format

Defines the format in which the report is to be exported and/or attached to the email to be sent. Depending on the report type (style or template based) different export formats are available. For template based reports, if the selected format is HTML, the file is exported with an .HTML.XML extension.

Protocol

The protocol via which the export file is to be transferred to its target location.

User Name

The name of the user login to access the export file in its target location.

Host Name

The name of the host on which the file is to be stored.

Port

The port number of the target host through which the export file is to be transferred. This field is not applicable if you chose file as your protocol.

Path

The complete directory path of the export file on the target computer.
