Browsing the reformatted file


Note that File-AID indicates that the reformatting process is complete with the message, FILE REFORMATTED, at the top right corner of the display as shown in the following figure.

File-AID displays the reformatted file in formatted Browse mode. See Browsing a Data File to review which commands you can use to navigate through a data set in the Browse function.

Use the DOWN and UP scroll commands to examine the reformat results.

When you are done with your review, return to the File-AID Primary Option Menu now.

Browsing the Reformatted File

Steps:

  1. If necessary, use the FMT command to view the data in Formatted Mode.
  2. Type DOWN in the COMMAND field.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Type RIGHT in the COMMAND field.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. Press PF3 (END) several times until the File-AID Primary Option Menu is displayed.
