Manage monitor buffer size for Code Debug/TSO

The monitor buffer setting determines how far a user can step backward through a program. Increasing the buffer size allows you to review more statements when debugging COBOL programs in Batch and IMS debug sessions. You can set the monitor buffer size from 1 MB to 2047 MB. The default value is 1 MB.

To set the monitor buffer size for Code Debug/TSO

  1. On the VS Code application, click the Manage icon (image2022-8-23_21-35-26.png) > Settings > Extensions > DevX Code Debug >TSO.
