Changing variable value format to hexadecimal
BMC AMI DevX Workbench for VS Code allows you to change the format of the variable from character to hexadecimal and hexadecimal to character format. The default format of the variable value is the character format.
To change the variable format
- Click the Manage icon ( ) of the VS Code application, and click DevX Code Debug.
Select the Display: Variable Display check box.
- In the VARIABLES panel, right-click on any variable, or in the editor, right-click on any variable and select Show Values in HEX Format. All the possible variable values are displayed in hexadecimal format.
In the same way, if you want to switch the variable format to the character then, in the VARIABLES panel, right-click on any variable, or in the editor, right-click on any variable and select Show Values in Character Format. All the possible variable values are displayed in character format.
Tip: For faster searching, add an asterisk to the end of your partial query. Example: cert*
