User authorization


Users must be authorized to access each target system and its associated BBI-SS PAS in order to use:

  • Specific product applications
  • BBI control commands
  • BMC AMI Ops Automation EXECs
  • Functions that issue commands to the operating system or subsystem functions that send messages to the BBI-SS PAS journal

You can use the following BBPARM members to define user authorization:


Member name

$USERID

Specifies the default authorization for local users

$RMTID

Specifies the default authorization for remote users

USERID

Provides a model for individual user authorization members

$GENERIC

Specifies the same authorization for multiple users
