Enter Target Context | Can the user access the target system from their current system? Default entity name: BBM.#PRODUCT.#SRCSYS.#TARGSYS.XA When a user attempts to access any target, the default entry name (BBM.#PRODUCT.#SRCSYS.#TARGSYS.XA) is checked before a connection is established between the user address space and the target context. This happens when the user specifies a single target context or a context that might include multiple targets. Targets can be added after a view is already displayed. For example, a new CICS region starts. When a user is in a context that includes multiple targets, additional checks are made whenever the screen is refreshed, and a new target is available. For example, the terminal user presses the Enter key for an already established view. |
