We have created a new option to select the COBOL area background and foreground color in the COBOL editor preferences.

We have added a new Color option to define colors for PL/I editor syntax in the main preference list. 

You can now override the Eclipse general appearance color setting for BMC editors by using the Preferences dialog box.

We have added the Extract preview option in the  Code Extract dialog box. This option displays the extract preview report within the editor. For more information, see Using Code Extract view.

The Assignment list in the Add Task to Assignment dialog now contains the following new options:

• <Active>: To open the active assignment directly in the Assignment view.
• <Filtered>: To select any assignment from the filtered list.
• <New>: To select the newly created assignment.

When you perform task actions in the Search View (double-click, browse, browse with, edit, and edit with on search items) the respective file line now opens in your chosen editor. You can also navigate to the expected line of the program directly from the search results within the editor.

You can use the new Compare Versions option in the Generate Impacts View and Worklist View to select a component to compare two versions of the same task or select two components to compare with two different tasks.

You can use the new Compare Versions option feature in the Components View to easily compare two components with their different versions.

You can now deploy multiple tasks across various environments, each with its distinct schedule of times and dates.

You can now select columns to add, rearrange, or remove from the Component Version view.

The functionality of the key binding for build and generate in Assignment View, Release View, or Set View has been enhanced. Now, you can use key bindings to generate a task directly from the editor.

We have added the following new API that enables you to restart or terminate a failed Deploy by using the Release ID:

You can now display pre-generated errors and warnings from your custom processes in the Problems View by adding them to an XML file before the generate step. They will automatically appear in the Problems view.

You can now use the GetDeploymentList function in the Jenkins Operations plugin to view a list of deployments.

• You can edit IMS XREF datasets in File-AID by using the XREF for IMS Editor. Click the toolbar File-AID icon and select XREF for IMS Editor:
  

• You can either edit Comment or Starting Data Name of a member by using XREF for IMS Editor. You can edit the following member types:

• 
  
  • Single
  • Multiple record type values (MULT-RTV)
  • LCHILD
  • CONCAT

The following example shows how to edit a MULT-RTV member:

The existing XREF Editor is renamed as XREF for MVS Editor. You can continue to edit or create MVS datasets by using this editor.

Alternatively, you can create a new MVS dataset from File > New > Other:

To connect to a database in ConverterPro, you have to enter the credentials manually. However, if you have the Central Credentials Provider installed on a Windows server, you can use it to log into your databases without entering your password. Your password can be retrieved through REST API calls by using this service. The Central Credentials Provider service is provided by CyberArk.

After validating external authentication server details, you can connect to a database without entering a password. For more information, see Connect to Data using Connector
