Troubleshooting Publish Report plug-in issues

Plug-in type

Publish Report is a Java-based Filter API plug-in.

AR System server connectivity

The AR System server interacts with the Publish Report plug-in by using the BMC Remedy AR System Java API. This plug-in requires BIRT Runtime, which is installed during the AR System server installation in the <ARInstallationFolder>\pluginsvr\birtruntime folder.

The plug-in arreportVerNum.jar and arreportingapiVerNum.jar ( — VerNum represents the release version number) is installed in the <ARInstallationFolder>\pluginsvr folder.

Configuration information

The configuration information of the Publish Report plug-in is available in the AR System Administration: Plugin Server Configuration form.

The AR System Administration: AR System Configuration Generic UI form includes the Server-Plugin-Alias parameter setting that points to the correct plug-in server alias.
