This documentation supports the 9.1 version of Remedy Action Request System.

To view the latest version, select the version from the Product version menu.

To modify an entry

  1. Open the Postman - REST Client.
  2. Create a token. For more information, see Creating a token.
  3. Set the Request URL as http://<server_name>:<port>/api/arsys/v1/entry/HPD:IncidentInterface/
    (Request_ID of an incident on HPD:IncidentInterface)
    For example, http://<server name>:<port>/api/arsys/v1/entry/HPD:IncidentInterface/INC000000000806|INC000000000806
  4. Select the operation as PUT.
  5. Click Headers.
    Enter the following data as key value pair in the header:



    AuthorizationAR-JWT <tokengenerated>


  6. Select raw.
  7. From the list, select JSON.
  8. Enter the JSON input for creating an entry.
    Refer to the following sample code.

    "Description" : "Rest API: Resolve Incident using Rest
    "Status" : "Resolved",                                               
    "Status_Reason" : "Future Enhancement",                                               
    "Resolution" : "Resolve through Rest API"
  9. Click Send.
