Troubleshooting BMC Remedy Assignment Engine

Starting from BMC Remedy AR System 9.0, the BMC Remedy Assignment Engine is bundled with BMC Remedy AR System Server. Therefore, there is no separate procedure to troubleshoot BMC Remedy Assignment Engine. The com.bmc.arsys.assignmentEngine-9.1.00-SNAPSHOT.jar is located in \BMC Software\ARSystem\deploy folder.

The BMC Remedy Assignment Engine files are deployed at the following location:

\BMC Software\ARSystem\assignmentengine\bin

List of BMC Remedy Assignment Engine files available after a fresh installation:

  • araejversionNumber_buildNumber.jar
  • aejstartup.bat

The bin folder is empty if you have performed a fresh installation. These files are present but are not used during an upgrade.
