Configuring BMC Remedy Single Sign-On

BMC Remedy Single Sign-On (BMC Remedy SSO)  is an authentication system that supports the following protocols to provide single sign-on and single sign-off for users of BMC products:

The later versions of BMC Remedy SSO also provide authentication protocols such as LDAP and certificate-based authentication. For the latest information about BMC Remedy SSO, see 2018-03-08_23-43-26_9.1.01: Service Pack 1.

User credentials and authentication tokens are security sensitive data. Hence to protect such data, HTTPS has to be configured.

For standalone installations, HTTPS has to be configured on the Tomcat server and for High Availability installations, HTTPS has to be configured on the load balancer.

The following video provides information about configuring BMC Remedy Single Sign-On for authentication.
