The BMC Remedy AR System workflow debugger

You can use the BMC Remedy AR System workflow debugger tool (wfd.exe) to debug workflow in filters and escalations. This command-line tool is installed with the BMC Remedy AR System server and is in the <ARSystemInstallDir>\wfd directory. For example, the default location on Windows is C:\Program Files\BMC Software\ARSystem\wfd.

To use the BMC Remedy AR System workflow debugger, you should understand how to create and use workflow, and how filter phases work. You should also be familiar with a command-line debugging environment.

Application developers can use the workflow debugger to set breakpoints, begin and resume workflow execution, single-step through workflow, examine data items associated with the workflow, and overwrite data items associated with the workflow.
