Stopping and starting the Assignment Engine

By default, the Assignment Engine is automatically started and stopped by armonitor.exe (Windows) or armonitor (UNIX) based on the following entry in the armonitor.cfg (armonitor.conf) file:

To start the Assignment Engine manually on Windows

  1. At the command-line prompt, go to the <ARSystemInstallDir>\assignmentengine\bin folder.
  2. Enter aejstartup.bat.

To start the Assignment Engine manually on UNIX

  1. At the shell prompt, go to the <ARSystemInstallDir>/assignmentengine/bin directory.
  2. Enter ./aejstartup.sh.

To stop the Assignment Engine manually on Windows and UNIX

  • Press Ctrl+C or kill the aejstartup process.
