Table support for server group tables

The database tables listed in the following table support server groups.

Description

servgrp_applic

Contains internal application licensing information. Each time a server in a server group starts, it removes records related to itself from this table.

servgrp_board

Serves as a bulletin board for all servers in a server group to record their existence and to provide updates about their current status. This table contains one record for each server in the group. It has the following fields:

  • serverName — The name of the server to use to send requests through the API.
  • serverPort — The port number in use by the server that should be used to send requests through the API.
  • intervalCount — A heartbeat count periodically updated to indicate that the server is running.
  • pendingSignals — Currently pending signals sent by other servers in the server group.
  • opFlags — A character string indicating the current state of operation ownership in the server group.

servgrp_config

Contains configuration information for server group management. This table has the following fields:

  • name — The logical name of the server group.
  • checkInterval — The interval (in seconds) between server group management checks.

servgrp_ftslic

Contains internal full text licensing information. Each time a server in a server group starts, it removes records related to itself from this table.

servgrp_op_mstr

Contains control information for each server operation that can be managed within a server group. This table contains one record for each operation. It is an internal table manipulated only by AR System.

servgrp_userlic

Contains internal user licensing information. Each time a server in a server group starts, it removes records related to itself from this table.
